How To use Discounts ??

I have created a Discount 20%, Applied it to Product SKUs, No Coupon, set the appropriate dates.

DISCOUNT REQUIREMENTS list?
The User Guides tells me that if I go to the "Discount/Requirements" tab I'm supposed
to see various entries on the combobox  ...but instead it has NO values.

BTW I also just noticed that the DiscountRequirement Table is emtpy.


I checked the 20% Discount on the Product Variant Discount tab.

So where am I supposed to see the actual discount in action
since there is NO coupon to be applied ?

Or am I missing some settings in order to see those entries?

Yes i did see that on the demo, so i guess i might be missing the values on that table.

When you say "then a discount should be just applied." do you mean I should see that on the 1st page of the CART ?

The reason it was NOT calculating the Discount when entering the Cart was because
on Admin \ Configuration \ Settings \ Catalog Settings

I checked the value for "ignore Discounts (sitewide)".
Uncheck that ...and it all works fine !!!
