Use Arvixe at your own Peril

We signed up and used the VPS service.  The service is horrible and unreliable.  The customer service is worse.  Good luck getting a hold of anyone, forget the phone, and if someone responds to your email, you will never get the same person twice.  We were told about an upgrade that would last 4 hours overnight.  TWO (2) weeks later our site was still down, we were fielding calls to see if we were still in business. It took ONE (1) week to even get a response that they acknowledged having a problem.  Arvixe did not put a "under construction" or anything to indicate the site was down - the website was just not available.  We cancelled our service with numerous emails and their acknowledgement, we demanded repeatedly a refund for the unused portion of the annual fee we paid up front.  They tired us down after a few months with lack of responsiveness or we are working on it.  Not only did we never receive the refund, but they just had the gall to charge our credit card for another year of service.  We moved our site months ago.  Now we have to go through the effort of disputing the charge.

DO NOT USE ARVIXE - THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!  YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

There are many more severe complaints about Arvixe since they were acquired by EIG. We also had terrible experiences with them moved away from them all our 12 VPSs. Nop didn't renew their hosting partnership agreement with Arvixe
