Will the USPS Rate Calculator be upgraded to use V4 and IntlRateV2 before V3 and IntlRate is retired in May 2011?

Thanks for info. Sure, in this case it'll be upgraded

Where can I find the fix for this. I am getting this error: "USPS Error returned: Error Desc: API Authorization failure. RateV3 is not a valid API name for this protocol." So I am assuming it hasn't been fixed yet. Or alternatively, how can I fix this myself?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think that is the reason you are getting that error though.    V3 still works as of now.

You are receiving the error because you are using the USPS testing URL (http://testing.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPITest.dll) instead of the product URL (http://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll).

Set the URL to production (http://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll) in Administration > Configuration > Shipping > Shipping Rate Computation > USPS (US Postal Service), "Edit" > Configuration (tab). Also, for a new USPS account, you need to submit a request to the USPS Internet Customer Care Center to have your profile updated to production.
