Delay on Export to Excel

Hello,

I have a database with 5000 products and I'm exporting to excel, but a huge delay is encountered (5-7 minutes). What reason causes this issue? I'm using nopCommerce 2.3.

Another problem is that on exporting to excel, user can interact with admin platform. In case of dummy users, this causes problem on downloading the excel file correctly. What I think should be done about this, is something like disabling any interaction with the screen of platform while downloading the file.

Any ideas on how to implement this?

I also noticed another problem on exporting to excel. I'm trying to filter the product catalog by category and manufacturer and export a specific number of products, but no luck. Is there any problems with the excel mechanism in current version of nopcommerce (2.3)?
