From Sqlserver 2005 to Sqlserver 2008 R2

Use nopCommerce version 2.50 on a sqlserver 2005 database.
If I want to transfer the database to a sqlserver 2008 R2, just do a backup and the amount?

Exactly, backup your database on sql 2005 and restore it on sql 2008 r2.
Just check that iis application pool will have access on the new database and it will work perfectly.
