Hi Milen,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions and willing to help. I would suggest the following. Alex (n-theme.com) will contribute his electronics theme (we already discussed all the details about it) and it'll be integrated in nopCommerce within the next 1-2 weeks. Once it's done, you'll create a fork on Codeplex with your suggestions and improvements. Then I'll merge them into the official release. What do you and the others think?

Hi Andrei,

Sounds good to me!

Many thanks

With the previous ideas and contributions I am sure that the end result will be much better than originally thought of when this task was initiated!!

In facebook, When I posted a status it does not show.

<a href="@Url.RouteUrl("HomePage")" class="logo">&nbsp; </a>

Replace with

<a href="@Url.Action("Index", "Home")"><img src="/Content/Images/logo.png"></a>

In \tinymce\themes\advanced\skins\default\content.css line1, Recommended to use the same font and size with public page.

I know you do not like it because it is not css.
But it's good for social network and search engine to find a company logo.

in 2010, I like a.logo {}
in 2012, I like <img>

Thank you.

In the new template it would be great to have the filters (in category listings) displayed horizontally and as drop down lists, as it has been commented in several posts.

any chosen design, I would suggest to separate in the design and create a skin for a specific design.
a simple skin that will include all colors and images

Hi Guys

I hope you don't  mind me throwing something into the mix, but how about making the new
template with HTML5 semantic markup, that would really bring us into the cutting edge world,
and especially as Google is now looking more closely at the content and microdata tags, just
a thought :)

Kind Regards
Ron

Hi Andrei,
if you're still playing, look at these themes, I find them very nice http://www.elegantthemes.com/gallery/category/ecommerce/

More important than using a new default template is to update the site to a CSS framework such as Twitter Bootstrap or something similar, that way people can use the default implementation and twitch it with all the new goodies with much more ease, among all the other benefits of upgrading to a modern layout.
