UPDATE: Today jromano reported about a critical issue with mobile devices and SSL (find more info here). That's why the new version (2.80) will be released in several days (the beginning of January)
That's really great news, I hope not a lot of features are removed from 2.8 as it had a few very good ones. One suggestion though just like we had a 2.65 we can have a 2.75 now and a 2.8 in the end of January(or somewhere in Feb) with the addition of a few new features/issues.
