PAYPAL CART & SHIPPING ADDRESS NOT CAPTURED USING CC DIRECT

All ready rolled out http://www.fabfourstore.com BUT no shipping address or cart contents get to PayPal just total $ amount, this is with PayPal direct and express.

Not using paypal standard,


Anyone else have this problem please HELP!!!

same problem. I just posted the same problem today. It is pissing me off. It is making me work three times as hard. It makes it very easy for me to ship the wrong product/s to my customers.

I tried to just enable paypal express, enable express and paypal direct. Only the customers name and payment amount and email address show up in paypal.


What do we do????

i am only using paypal express - once a customer finishes paying using paypal, they are redirected  back to your store where they must click 'confirm. All the billing / shipping address info they supplied to your store during the checkout process is stored with their order details - which you can then access through your store admin.

I am trying to avoid using the admin on the website to process orders.
I can print out receipts and packing slips in seconds in paypal.
I have been using paypal to print out shipping labels for 7 years. I don't want to dig back into the site and look for orders then go back and print out the labels from paypal. It creates a lot of room for mistakes when you have to match up orders with payments. It is only one step from paypal. I can have a label printed out from paypal in under 60 seconds.

Wazee you are 100% right...BIG boo boo for a little bug somewhere:
its not functional to copy shipping details to PayPal..even an export shipping file for batch would be awkward.
besides which why would you NOT pass the cart contents to PayPal, Hence (Authorize and Capture) Vs Authorize.

Lets stick at this and get it sorted, where is the value for (Authorize and Capture) Vs Authorize. It maybe that simple?

not sure if you use the PayPal shipper in the UK, its a part of my work-flow and works great.

there is a radio button for authorize  / authorize and capture in the paypal express shipping method - if you select authorize, you can capture the payment by clicking the capture payment button  (which is generated automatically when appropriate)  in the admin section as you look at the specific order

Yes you are correct...not sure what your trying to say though?

where is the value  in the code or database?

It's a bug. Shipping info will be passed to PayPal in the next version of nopCommerce
