Log out ~ Remember me

When I am in the admin area and click on the "publlic store" I return to the default page but I am no longer logged in.  Then,  when I click on the "log in" button and go to the log in page, it shows "administration" as if I am still logged in.  This is not the normal behavior of my site and is something new.  There are no errors in the log.  Has anyone else encountered a similar instance?

Hmmm, funny thing... I changed my settings in internet options to check for newer versions of stored pages to "never".  Once I changed it back to "everytime I start Internet explorer" everything works right.  So, my bad.  Thanks for listening.
