Hi everyone.

Is there a way to allow anonymous checkouts for only parts of stores in the configuration? I am aware of the Configuration > Settings > Order settings route, but as I understand it that allows anonymous checkout for every item in the store.

Hi Regiranka,

Could you please elaborate what exactly you are trying to accomplish? What do you mean by "allow anonymous checkouts for only parts of stores in the configuration"?

Please provide an example (or share screenshots) - if possible.

I am researching if the functionality is native, or if we'll have to develop it.

We have one customer who wants complete and full access to the stores products without login, and that is easily done in the settings. This is all well and done.

But another customer want only partial access. Only some products should be available as anonymious purchase.

Is there a "native" way to manage this without development? If no, we'll develop it, no problems. We just don't want to reinvent the wheel.

If your requirement was to give access to "view" the product(s) on the public store to specific customers only then you could use "Access Control List" and assign a role to those customers only.

But - Since, you are looking for "Anonymous checkout" feature for specific customers only, you will have to customize the code accordingly. The default out of the box "anonymous checkout" functionality allows "all" customer to checkout as guest.
