Anyone have any experience of implementing an automatic postcode to address system?

Not bothered if this uses a bought in solution.

This is just for UK addresses but I'd like to hear about any more comprehensive solution eg europe/usa

How do you know the zipcodes of every address in UK? Do you know some webservice that does that? If so then it will not be very hard to implement.
