how to change background

I'm trying to find out how to change the background for the default nopCommerce cart using the darkOrange theme with v1.5

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Go to nopCommercStore folder > App_Themes > Your CURRENT Theme > Cart-checkout-order.css

from this style sheet you can customize your theme in checkout process

I don't want to change the background in just the cart. I want to change it for the entire site

sorry for the misunderstanding, as you mentioned in your first post nopCommerce CART so i though you only want to make changes in checkout process.

to change the style (like background etc) of the whole website

Go to nopCommercStore folder > App_Themes > Your CURRENT Theme > master.css

From master.css you can change a lot of things like backgroun color / image, your website logo, info block , manufacturer block, and much more...
