redirect from old .asp page

I am rebuilding a site with a lot of info. I am going to add the parent page as a category so it will show up on the menu.
Next i will add all the other pages that the parent page will link to as topic pages.
The search engines has had all of these .asp pages indexed for years. I want to do new pages and have a redirect to the new pages. So when someone searches this products and the old .asp pages comes up in search or someone who has had it bookmarked for years it will automacally be redirected to the new page on this nopp site.
Hoe do I set up the redirects when the old links are coming in?

Search the forums for "301 redirect"
E.g.  https://www.nopcommerce.com/boards/t/36400/create-301-redirects-without-the-plugin.aspx
I think there are also plugins in the marketplace.
