I am not sure of why the Admin\Content management\Topics (pages)\ContactUs option has a Published check box. The question mark for it says "Determines whether this topic is published (visible)in your store".
I interpret that as meaning, if you uncheck that Published check box and save the topic, when I go to the public store, the contact us option should not be available.
I tested it and it does not seem to work that way. The contact us screen is still available.
I see what you mean. It does not show the body if that published box is unchecked.
It's very confusing, because every one of the field descriptions on that page say "of this topic". "Check to include this topic in the top menu" "Check to include this topic in the site map"
Why would anyone want to include that body text in the top menu or the site map?
Also, I checked everyone of those "Include in" checkboxes and I don't see any change in the public store screen.
Did you ever figure out how to deactivate the Contact Us page? I do not show it on the Topics page so I have no idea where it is located. What a joke! Thanks
