Possible to add non-image downloads like PDFs to a product?

Just like I can add images to a product in the Admin backend, I would like to also add other files like e.g. PDF info brochures to a product.

These are just pure informational documents, not digital purchasable products.

I've tried to upload a PDF as an image, but it tells me "Upload failed".

My question:

Is it somehow possible to associate 0..n non-image files with a product and show them to the shop visitor for download?

Yes.. but you have to enable downloadable product then you will option for upload sample.
