1.5 to 4 upgrade

how can I upgrade from 1.5 to 4?
I saw fkosoft database upgrade tool it is good? would you recommend?
I use MSPControl, how I create a copy of all my database and run a script?
what to do? I'm confused.

Where can I find older upgrade scripts?
the 1.6 to 1.9 script, 1.90 to 2.00 migration SQL script, and upgrades to 2.10, 2.20, 2.30, etc
