Need help in shipping configuration

Hi,

I would like to configure my shipping options for two instances:

1) flat rate at $3.95 or 2)free shipping $75 or more. how would i configure this appropriately?

In administration do as follows:
Free shipping:
1. Go to Configuration->Shipping->Shipping settings
2. Check "Free shipping over X"
3. Add 75 in the field called Value of 'X'.

Fixed rate:
1. Go to Configuration->Shipping->Shipping computation
2. Find "Fixed Rate Shipping".
3. Click Edit.
4. Check the box called Active to make it active
5. Click the configuration tab and enter the cost, $3.75 in your case.
6. Press save and you are ready to go :)

I was able to add the fixed rate shipping.

but the free shipping option configuration does not have an option to add the value x on mines, i am using v1.7. don't know why it doesn't have any thing on the configuration tap? do you see anything in your configuration tap on the free
shipping option where to can add a value to x?
