FTP image uploads

I want to ftp a new image to replace an existing image inserted in the body of a page. Overwriting the existing image does not replace the rendered image seen on the web. Is it possible to do this?

Hi, try clear cache of Nop from Admin and that of your browser also.

Thanks. That led me to the solution. Chrome's caching and IE caching are very different, with IE getting a new version more frequently.
