I have 1.7 and I havn't made any code changes to it.
To upgrade I am planning to replace completly the nopcommerce files and keep the inages folder.
What about database?
Which script should I run? (ofcourse I will backup first)

In the above video you will see that you just have to replace your 1.7version files completely with 1.8version and run install/install.aspx page.
