Paypal Standard and order completion

Hi - I am trying to setup the version 1.60 for my online store (because my current host still not yet supporting the framework 4.0).

My only payment mode is the paypal standard.
When I click the confirm button in the checkout screen, I been taken to the paypal Web site, which is good.  
But at the same time
1. An email send out saying the order is processed.
2. Inventory is reduced
3. Shopping cart is cleared

All the above happen before the payment is made in the paypal site. Is it a bug or nopcommerce build this way?

Please let me know.

That's how the process is set-up. It's very inconvenient, and some of my customers who later cancelled the order at the payment stage got confused.

I have changed the email language in the Admin/Template area. The email cleary stated that this is just the confirmation and no order is booked till payment is cleared....but still confuses my customers....
