Nearly frozen on products export

Hi,

I try to export to excel the products catalog (4126 records so far) and it seems that will take forever. My (development) web server is a 2 x Xeon with 72 GB RAM and it's sql companion is a 2 x Xeon with 24 GB RAM.
Any hints about how to solve this?

I've seen where Import takes a very long time, but I can't recall ever seeing time problem for Export.  If this is your "development", you could debug in VS, to see what's going on.
