GoDaddy Medium trust PDF

Just got off the phone with GoDaddy support and I told them about the PDF trust issue...

They told me to roll back to ASP1.1 where full trust is given...

It will take up to 24 hrs before the change takes place.

My question, is the "Fix" that simple or will the store go down running ASP1.1?

They said this wouldn't happen... But the store is now offline....... some people's kids................
If 1.4 cannot run under ASP1.1 then I'll be down 48hrs waiting to rest the language back.

I am not sure that nopCommerce will run properly in 1.1 Version

If it was me I would be using another hosting company that supported full trust. (90% people hate Go daddy and they are not happy with the service)

I Guess you have 2 options,

1) Make modifications in your code and make your project compatible for running on Medium/Partial Trust, for solution, refer THIS THREAD

2) You can switch to different hosting company that offers Full Trust Level

Just canceled the language request and will make the changes listed...

Like I said... Just enough to be dangerous..

Problem is the customers will suffer.

Will set up a different hosting site next year... maybe....

Back Online.. Did not work under ASP 1.1..  At least GoDaddy did not need the full 24hrs they allocated to make the change..

right now the only way to get the order attribute data is by xml...

Do you have a copy of your whole web project with you on your local machine ?

Because after making those changes to run  your project in Medium Trust , you need to re-build your whole project so it's better if you test it on your local machine, and when you are satisfied that it's running fine with any errors/problems, just replace the project on  your server with the new modified one

Make sure before making any kind of changes (Back Up your whole database first)

Any way to use the Print order aspx from admin?

As your website is running on Medium Trust Level you won't be able to get the PDF file, unless you do changes in your code and make your website compatible for running on Medium trust
