testing checkout with valid cc

Hi.  I searched the forums for this, but came up empty.

When you are testing a checkout in the store, how do you get by the cc information without actually entering a real credit card number?  Is there a testing cc number that will verify as a real cc (in format) but not actually be charged or submitted?

Here is something that you should remember while testing:

For CVV/CVV2 numbers:

For using AMERICAN EXP (AMEX): use 4 digits (like 1234)

For VISA / DISCOVER / MASTERCARD: use 3 digits (like 123)
