Very Strange Problem After Upgrade To v2.2?

I have just upgraded to v2.2.. I have run the upgrade scripts and they worked fine, but when I go to view the new site all I get is the following??

Anyone know what the heck is going on?

Anyone? I have tried starting from a blank v2.2 now and I'm getting the same :(  I have even given full permissions to all users but to no avail... Its really odd!  The site has been running fine for weeks on v2.0 in the exact same setup.

Still can't find out what this issue is, but the admin is working fine!?  Any ideas would be greatly received?

Sorry I know its not, but that's all I get... Literally, when I load the front end I just get that?  I am going to start again tonight and re-download everything, rebuild and try again and see if I get the same.

I am upgrading from v2.0 to v2.2... so I ran the v2.1 upgrade script, then the two v2.2 upgrade scirpts? That is correct isn't it?

Check your event viewer for actual errors. Sadly, nop shows that garbage screen if there are issues and you have to hope that the real error is in event log.

I have the same problem! Strange symbols... Where can problem be?
