How to upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2 but keep my existing categories and data?

I have an existing nopcommerce 2.1 install website and i have already made a bunch of admin edits to create categories and enter product data etc.  What are the steps to upgrade to 2.2 version without loosing this data?
