moving from 1.8 to 2.4

Hello

I have quite a few clients on 1.8 and would like to move to 2.4
Has someone attempted this ?

Are there any DB changes ?

Please suggest

One other thing to consider is that nopCommerce is now using Microsoft's MVC libraries. Any customizations done in the older WebForms versions will need to be updated to work with the new infrastructure. Themes will also need to be updated to use models and cshtml files.

I went from 1.90 to 2.40 , took about 7 hours, and 7 days clean up 3- 6 hours each day.

the UI is fine, which we can handle by development. But its the DB changes which scare me, as the sites are already live since a 1.5 yrs and tons of customer and product data on them

Is anyone able to help with DB migration from 1.6 to 2.4?

What i am most interested in is moving customers from existing 1.6 DB to new 2.4 DB
Perhaps someone would be kind enough to tell us the steps to perform the above?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
