Import products, orders, customers from virtuemart to nopCommerce

One of my clients want to move from Virtuemart to nopCommerce. He has over 1000 products and around 6000 customers. What is the best option available to move them to nopCommerce. Is it possible at all?

We are starting a project to migrate a Virtumart store to NOPCommerce 2.7. Our goal is to develop a process or tool that could be used not just for our project. Has anyone found such a utility yet. I would hate to build something that already exists. - Tom
