Upgraded to 3.0 but site is really slow now

Hey folks,

I updated my nopc based site from 2.5 to 3.0 and the upgrade has been successful!

However the site speed has gone really slow, homepage load time is very high now and at times it takes upto 30 secs to load the first page.

Is there anybody else facing a similar issue or if I can do something about it.

I have got same  problem. quite slow..

I am having the same issues. The front end is extremely slow but the admin seems OK.

Any ideas?????

I have same issue, but mine is only happen in Arvixe server. Speed in localhost is quite fast.

Thanks just switching the discounts from category to product variants worked!
