I have drygoods and live goods. Shipping is very different for them. Should I have 2 websites or should I have a subdomain. for example www.happycoral.com and www.drygoods.happycoral.com? I don't want to make it confusing for the user, but I would like a good seo rating.

I say you have two different websites for them if you don't want to confuse users. this way you can link both sites and its better for seo as well.
