SiteMap Errors On Google Webmaster

Do you have plugins that can affect the work of the sitemap? If you have, try turning them off. If you don`t know, disable all third-party plugins. Maybe the problem with it.

Or if it won`t help, try to upgrade to a newer nopCommerce version that supports your plugins (e.g., 4.10)

Hi Maria,
I got a reply in the google forum,
someone mentioned the below about my sitemap.

I see several <url></url> tags where  <loc> is empty, no url is specified
I wonder if that can be a problem for Google

example

​<url>
    <loc />
    <changefreq>weekly</changefreq>
    <lastmod>2019-05-28</lastmod>
</url>

How would i fix these issues ?

Hi Varun,

Please clarify, are you able to upgrade your store at least to 4.10? Maybe 4.10 supports your plugins.

Hi Maria,
Just posting here for reference of others.

I have fixed 28/29 of this empty loc tag issue.

The problem was not with the urlrecord table. The problem was with the product table.
There were some products without sku. When i deleted those products from the product table the issue went.

However i still have 1 more of the same error pending, unable to find it yet.
Similar to the sku column, what other columns or tables does nopcommerce use when generating the sitemap ?
