Quoting System

Hi,  

Does anyone know of a plugin or solution for having a quoting system, where the customer fills out a form for the RFQ (for certain products), then we create a quote and it emails them the quote (only they can see it) and if they want to purchase it, they can complete the order through the Nop site?

Did you search the marketplace?

Yes, I did search there but did not see anything that did all that.  Some had forms for RFQ, but that was about it, that I could find.

A non streamlined way is to register a customer. Then Login to Admin
Change the Message Template for Order Placed to say "Your Quote is attached"
Find customer you created then impersonate the customer
Add items to cart and checkout to create an order - use a "pay later" payment method
The Customer will recieved the email "Thanks for requesting a quote - please see details below"
If they like the quote provide a way to pay for the order
Confirm payment then the customer will receive an order payed email
