Refer a friend discount

wanted to make a Refer a friend to get feature on Nopcommerce. Please let me know if it already exisits, else some tips would be very helpful

Below is the generic Idea

"
With our unique referral program get 2.5% cash back on the purchase made by your friend. In addition you receive a 10% off on your next purchase. Your friend receives: $20 off on $300 purchase or more $50 off on $500 purchase or more $100 off on $1200 purchase or more You enjoy the benefits of your friend purchasing from XXXXXX "

As I am also interested in refer-a-friend (I'll call it RAF for brevity sake) capability, I have a take on this.

First, the Affiliates concept, although similar, is not really the best way to approach this IMHO. Affiliate marketing, banner ads, etc., have some notable distinctions from RAF. And, after looking at the Affiliate marketing roadmap, I think they are on the right track with it.

I think the best approach more closely resembles a blend of the "email a friend" feature in the Wishlist functionality and the Promotions/Discount functionality. I envision it working something like this:

1. A registered user (prerequisite for the RAF program) simply emails a friend a link to the store using something like the Wishlist "email a friend" feature.
2. nopCommerce would create a url and concatenate a guid of some sort to the url and embed in the outgoing email
3. nopCommerce would associate the sent out guid with the registered user who sent out the email to the friend
4. The friend would click on the link from their email that would take them to the store
5. nopCommerce would see the guid and associate the friend to the registered user who sent it
6. When the friend buys from the store, the sale is associated with the original registered user
7. Finally, some reports would be created to show all registered users who have "friends" who have bought from the store
8. Discount options could be same as currently exist for normal discount.

Pretty simple stuff in concept using existing Wishlist email and Discount capability.

I'm hoping some nopCommerce gurus will take a crack at this. It would be a great addition to this great product.
