I just in stalled version 2.2 and we are thinking of using nopCommerce for our shop.
One small question. We want a store with languages EN/FR/ES/DE/IT front-end.
What if a language pack for 2.2 does not exist 1) Import 2.1, 2.0 versions and see if it works and change whats not working 2) Export english and start over again with translating
Let's say you want to have Italian language supported in 2.20. I would better follow the next steps: 1. Import existing Italian language pack for version 2.10 2. Download upgrade script (2.10 => 2.20) here 3. Upgrade.sql contains all new locale resources (about 100 new resources) 4. Just add them to your database and then translate them
a) would this also be true to spanisch 2.1, german and french 1.9? b) I was expecting the update script only to be needed when you upgrade let's say from 2.1 to 2.2. I have a fresh clean 2.2 installation - is your answer still true. c) any documentation what the update script is performing?
a) You can do it for any 2.X language pack. But 1.X language packs are outdated because 2.00 was rewritten form scratch b) Right. But I was talking about the first part of upgrade script which contains new locale resources (other SQL stuff is not required) c) No. But it has some comments before each SQL command
Hi, I miss or can not find the search function in admin - languages to search for Resource names or values. This was really helpfull to do your translations in 1.9 and earlier. Will this be added again in future releases ?
