nopCommerce 2.40 and IE7 support

Hi,

according to https://www.nopcommerce.com/technologysystemrequirements.aspx, IE7 is supported (IE6 and up). In nopCommerce 2.40 the new WYSIWYG editor TinyMCE does not show up (e.g. for product descriptions). There is only a (very small) textarea, which is practically unusable.

Was support for IE7 dropped, or is this a bug?

It's a bug. To display the TinyMCE editor in IE7, edit file: Administration\Views\Shared\EditorTemplates\RichEditor.cshtml

Remove the comma at the end of line 45:
media_external_list_url : "lists/media_list.js",
Save the file and refresh the browser.
