How to access backend administration system

Hi community!

I'm new to Nopcommerce and testing it on my hosting provider. I uploaden the nopcommerce files to wwwroot/Shop/. Shop is configured as virtual directory.

On the administration page i choose the Use built-in data storage (SQL Server Compact) option. The installation finishes succesfull and redirects me tot the shop. If i login as the admin user i'm not getting redirected to the back-end system. There is no option in the header to go to the administration panel.

Am i doing something wrong or? Is there an other way to acces the back-end system?

Hello Marco, I'am a new NopCommerce user, and after my installation, I have the problem like you: I can't access to the backend administration windows; since, have you get a solution?

hello, I found the mistake: in fact, to access to the backend, you must connect from the front end with an admin loggin. in my case, I connected with the account that I create during the installation of nopcommerce.

I have the same problem, except the fix mentioned above is not working.

To be clear so that everyone will benefit, the backend is accessed by using the EXACT email and password with requested confirmation (regardless of if it is set up yet or not) that was typed in during the initial configuration page for NopCommerce.  This was the first page you opened with NopCommerce.

Then, there will be a link at the top center entitled "Administration"  Click it and you will go to the back end.
