Up to 2.40 in Edit Order Details / Products there was the possibility of printing the Packing List. In 2.50, the button disappeared.
Only the Packing list shows SKUs, neither Invoice nor working grid do.
SKUs are necessary because it is almost impossible to tell the exact article only by description when preparing parcels for delivery.
How is it possibile to resume this very important feature?

It's still there (almost there). Since version 2.50 a store owners can create several shipments per order. Just click 'Add shipment' button. Once a shipment is created you can go to its details page and print a packaging slip

I just managed an order:

1) you need the packing list BEFORE delivery, because you have to collect items and you need a compact list with SKUs. Even better, as from 2.40, GTIN have been iontroduced, why not have a column with them as well? Otherwise are of no use
2) It's useless to have packing list AFTER, as you have already prepared the package (unless you intend to have the packing list of each box, very usefull, but this is not the case).
3) Besides, it is VERY important to have the SKU column in product page (prior it was ok to download the PDF and have a look at it).
4) Invoice never had SKUs. Why not?
5) Finally I didn't find any packing list to print even in the shipment subform

Good points, especially about the SKU's.

The packing list option is seen on the shipment subform AFTER a new shipment is entered. It's at the top right of the detail screen.

1. ??? What column and where should it be used or displayed?
2. Agree. I've just created a work item
3. What product page?
4. PDF invoices still don't have SKU
5. It's there. Example is here

please clarify your questions

1) Ok. When you work an order, you print the order detail and go to the warehouse, the shop shelves, etc., picking up items.
Think over the case (mine) where you ordered goods by SKUs. You print the packing list and, SKU by SKU, pick up items quickly, opening drawers and boxes. Descrizpion is of very little help, as it has commercial (actractive) impact basically for customers.
Wxample: "Wooden duck with wheels 17 cm." is a good description for a customer, while a SKU like "CD-001-X"(or a EAN13 bar code such as 8500125445602" is much more useful for the warehouseman who prepares the package for delivery.

3) Sales -->Orders. Pick up an order and switch to product view. There you see "product name", price, and so on. Just add a "SKU" and a "GTIN" column before "product name", as somebody use SKUs while others only bar codes. There's plenty of room to add more useful columns there, if you gather plenty of info, why don't use 'em?

4) If you click the "Invoice (PDF)" button, invoice is generated. As you can see, again, the only column is "Produce Description" - no SKU column exists

5) You're right, sorry

Hope to be of help.

1. Don't you have to print "Packaging slip" instead of "Invoice" when going to a warehouse? And "Packaging slip" contains SKU. BTW, Usually my invoices do not contains SKU information. I think it should be configurable.
3-4.  Got now. I'll create a work item

In the shipment detail page, there are only 2 cols, product description and qty, while packing slip has 3, SKU as well.
So why don't add consistency and have also SKU in grid?
Besides, column order (both at screen ad on paper) should be SKU - Product description - Qty, rather than viceversa. It's a detail, but what you do is to find the article and then pick up the ordered quantity, so quantity ought to come after the article identification.

The work item is already created.

I think there's something a bit messy.

1) In testing enviroment, I placed the following order:

- Product A: 10 pcs    Stock: >10 pcs
- Product B: 5 pcs      Stock = 0

2) In Shipping pane, I added shipment . no slip (packing list) button is visible, so there's nothing to print
3) I confirmed the two quantuies proposed )10 for A and 5 for B), and saved
4) A shipment registration has been generated, regardless of B, that there are none in stock
5) I clicked View and, now YES!, the "Print packaging slip" button is visible
6) I clcked "Set as delivred" and "back to Order Detail", delivery date has been aupdated
7) I clicked again View lionk and went back to the Shipment detail pane
8) I clicked Delete, confirmed, vent back to Order detail and no shipments Items exist
9) I webt back to Orders list, refreshed the page, and the order i smarked as delivered.

Assuming that everything has to be revised as "Delete" button have not to be shown as far as Delivery occured, check quantity to deliver that should be more or equal than stock quantity and show the packing slip button also before delivery, two suggestions arise:

1) Add a column with the stock quantity, so that it is clear what can or can't be delivered
2) Update phe packing list functionality so that before delivery it shows ordered articles and after delivered items
