Hi All,

I am running nopCommerce 3.00 on Windows Server 2012 and IIS 8.

When I log into the Admin site the menu bar links do not work and none of the menu drop downs display.

I have tried the following all with no luck:

I have tried in multiple browsers i.e. Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer
I have cleared the cache on all browsers
I have changed the Application Pool to Integrated rather than Classic
When in Integrated the site errors out so this is not an option

Has anyone else seen this or know of a resolution please?

Thanks.

Please see Installing nopCommerce. nopCommerce works only in Intergrated mode. If you experience some issues with this mode, provide more info about them

Check the folder permissions for the site....sounds like a permissions issue?
I always set Network Service and IUSR to full on the folder.

Thanks both so a few things I have tried:

I changed the Application Pool to Integrated and I got the following error when I tried to load the site:
Could not load type 'System.ServiceModel.Activation.HttpModule' from assembly 'System.ServiceModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'.

From looking at the error this looks like .NET is not configured correctly so I have run the following command on the .NET 4 directory:
aspnet_regiis.exe -iru

After running this I still have the same error.

I have also given the Network Service and IIS_IUSR account full rights on the website directory.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Shaun.

In case anyone else comes across this I resolved this by doing the following:

In Windows Server 2012 > Add Roles and Features Wizard I enabled everything that was under the following 2 features:

.NET Framework 3.5 Features
.NET Framework 4.5 Features

Once all of these items were installed everything now works correctly.

Thanks,
Shaun.
