Price adjustment for associated product

It seems like it is not possible to adjust the price for an associated product in 3.2. Is this correct? If correct: why is that?

I think it would be very useful if admin can adjust the price of an associated product.

In v3.2 there is an option to allow a store owner to specify an overridden price for attribute combinations. For example, you can give a discount for bundled products this way

Thanks for your reply! Where do I find this?

When adding/editing a product go to Product attributes tab and then to Attributes combinations sub-tab. You can even define combinations when you just have one attribute. Example

Our product prices are based on a Width and Height pricing matrix.  Instead of creating a variant for each possible combination (hundreds) I have tried to use product attribute combinations (in v3.2 and v3.3) to simulate the pricing matrix.

I have dynamic pricing turned on but the price override does not update the price on product details page.

For example, the base size and price would be 10x10 $50 but as you choose other sizes the price should change like 11X10 $55 up to 20X20 $150.

Is this a known problem or are there some other requirements that I might be missing?

From what I can tell, dynamic pricing affects only the product details page. I can't explain why this is by design, but I have a suggestion. Currently when adding a product attribute to a product, if the attribute value type is "single" then you have the choice to adjust the price, but if it is set to "associate to product" it automatically adjusts the price. If we either had a check box to allow us to use the associated product price or not... or handle it the same as "simple", provide an area to set a price, that would help This would help us to be able to pass off a proper price between both pages. Currently if I set a product price, it adds that price with all the associated products prices and makes the final price twice as high. So for the time being, I have to set product price to $0.

We're dealing with this issue as well. Is there any fix to have the override price show on the product page instead of only showing on the cart page? Customer's currently won't realize the true price when ordering.
