I am trying to configure the Paypal Direct plugin for Paypal Pro, but for my business I manage my Paypal account via Paypal Manager website. https://manager.paypal.com/ The instructions on the plugin page don't apply to the manager page.
Has anyone used Paypal Manager to get API Credentials? Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks
Ok. I have been doing some research and found that we currently use PayFlow Pro and not PayPal. The major difference being that PayFlow Pro uses a third party to process transactions, while PayPal processes them internally.
PayFlow Pro DOES NOT have the same credentials (API Account Name, API Account Password, Signature). They simply use your Login Name, Password, and third party processor name.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this and how to get it integrated? Does PayPalDirect plugin work with PayFlow? It looks like some customization will be needed?
Our deadlines are rapidly approaching so if anyone can help shed some URGENT clarity and guidance on this, it is much appreciated.
there once was a plugin call "PayPal.Direct" way back in version 2.3. This one did use the API which is setup via your PayPal account manager.
It is not the same integration as the current 3.3 which uses "PayPal Standard". PalPay Standard when activated on NOP 3.3 takes the shopper to PayPal to complete the transaction.
Thanks for the info. I actually forgot about this post because we ended up going with a different gateway. Got better rates and it doesn't take the customer away from our page.

Someone should create a YouTube tutorial on how to do this. nothing is stopping me on creating a simple html buy now button or a subscription button. Only have like 10 digital products in my inventory.
All nopCommerce has to do is record and keep track of the sale Maybe even write the html code for the buttona
