Cannot embed Back to previous page in Topic pages

I have several Topic pages that give a brief description of a products capabilities. All pages (mostly) have links to one or more other pages. Prior to 3.30 I used href="javascript:javascript:history.go(-1)" to navigate back to the previous page (embedded via HTML editor). At 3.30 the editor strips this out. I believe the editor in use changed at 3.30, certainly it used to be ok.

I have a custom theme but no other modifications and this is in the Administration Console -  Content Manage>Topics (Pages) and then click on edit for any page.

The MS SQL version is 2012

The way to reproduce this is create two Topic pages, add to site map in order to navigate to pages, on each page include a link to the other page and also embed <a href="javascript:javascript:history.go(-1)" shape="rect"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Back to previous page</span></a> via HTML edit. My experience is the editor will strip out the javascript:javascript:history.go(-1) and hence Back to previous page does not work.

Please don't take offence for my posting this as a bug. In my defence when I didn't get any reply on this I took it to being a bug so reported it as such as I really needed a solution. I did not really think that counted as duplicating Forum topics.
