Hi,

It's a built-in record. Please have a look at the "Admin comment" field you highlighted. It allows nopCommerce one single customer records for all search engines. This way we can avoid creation of guest customer records for each request made by a search engine.

Hi Andrei,
Please, you could support me with the next (Nop 4.0 & 4.1): I was aware of this user 'search-engine', but i don't view this user in customers list (how above), only on DB. Is this why I have many "404 not found" error messages (ex. Error 404. The requested page (/addproducttocart/catalog/133/1/1) was not found)?, i have that to activate search-engine user?

Finally, I have dev/test domains, in 'Admin > Customers > Online customers' sometimes I see some, I look for their IP and they are from google-bots, i added robots.txt to jump the SE in these, but it does not work, I still see them connected, any ideas?

Thank You!

I guess this user was deleted that is why you do not see user at the admin, but see at the DB. Check delete column and restore user. It should fix issue.

Tom

Hi Tom thanks,
I realized that it happens, the user 'builtin@search_engine_record.com' can only be seen when the bot is on the site and takes that account.

The other issue of the frequent 'Error 404 Not found', I think they are other bots trying to find some vulnerability, hopefully someone has an idea of how to stop this ...
