How is sessions managed

Hi there

I assume sessions are managed via cookies on a customer's pc. This means if they log in from a diff PC they cant see their cart etc - correct?

This is not correct.

Cookies are used for anonymous users only. And user sessions are stored into database ([Nop_CustomerSession] table). So if registered user log in from a diff PC he can see their cart.
