Hi,

I'm aware that the general rule when it comes to inserting meta keywords phrases, you should limit it to 10. I recently attended an SEO course which broke the keyword rule into 3 sections: Root keyword - Qualifiers - Proof keywords. My question is: Where in Nopcommerce should I insert the qualifiers please? ie. location, size, colour etc? Should I be including these in the meta description? Where would they be most effective?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,
it is important meta description for each page to be unique. so if you place your keywords inside a meta description I guess it will be possible to end up with non-unique descriptions, for example for the products of the same directory. Keywords should be keywords, that makes sense.

If you have too many products to edit manually, you can use this plugin, it will save you a lot of time
Smart SEO

Google does not count Meta keywords, look at this table https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/79812?hl=en , so take care more on header (h1), title, meta description, alt on image tag, and data markup like https://schema.org/

That's true, Google is ignoring meta keywords, however they still matter to other search engines.
But your hints are correct, in general the page content is more important than the meta content from a SEO point of view.
