Hello,

My SEO company wants me to add 400+ keywords to my homepage and subpages.

I'm assuming they mean in the HTML code itself, and if so where and how do I put these.

Thanks,
Dave

go to admin/content management/topics(pages) and find HomePageText (homepage) page and click Edit, then click on SEO tab and add your meta keywords, meta description and meta title. Every page, category or product have SEO tab.

Thanks for the reply!

I've done that and was wondering if there's anywhere else to put them.

You're wasting your time adding anything to meta keywords, this is not used by any major search engine anymore as they discovered people keyword stuffed them.

Remember with SEO content is still king and thus if they are saying you need to add 400+ words they need to be added via coherant, readible and useful, to your customer, paragraphs, don't hide them nor add them to meta tags as blocks of words, this will get you demoted on the major search engines.

Hi Dave,

@renners is quite right.  Be careful you don't engage in any black hat SEO techniques that may damage your ranking as a result.
