how to change footer text

i cant find out where you change the text in the footer: Copyright © 2017 Your store name. All rights reserved
can anyone point me in the correct direction?

Go to Configuration > Stores:

There you can define the store name and that store name will be visible on your footer with copyright statement.

If there are other elements you want to edit in the footer, or you need to add custom javascripts or whatever, you can edit the footer file:
/Views/Common/Footer.cshtml
