Hi all!

A heavily customized NOC just landed on my lap. Even though I have many, many years of experience on Linux / *NIX sysadmin and web development with lots of different technologies, NOC is quite a change to say the least ;-)

I need to help my friend to keep her NOC site up, at least for a few months.

The first problem I found was that the admin page is quite different than the demo. The last dev hid most of the links; the URLS work though, so I'm able to copy & paste URLs from the demo page and take a peek as to what is missing.

Second problem is that the logging is completely disabled. I can't see anything on Admin/ActivityLog/ListLogs or /Admin/ActivityLog/ListTypes

Is there a way to enable logging without programming, at least at this stage?

Thanks!

First of all what Nop version is your store? Here you can find documentation for very old versions

Thanks!

/Admin/Common/SystemInfo says it's a NOC 3.8.

I've been digging around and found another user with higher credentials and that opened all of the links in the sidebar. I also found the general activity log in /Admin/Log/List.

But /Admin/ActivityLog/ListLogs and /Admin/ActivityLog/ListTypes are still empty.

I'm looking to establish a basic understanding of the running system, and that means I need my logs :-) that's for the first part.

Later on my friend wants me to check on the email templates and fix a few typos. Also seems like someone is getting mail that wasn't supposed to receive. We'll see.
