Announcing the News Resourcer Widget
This nopCommerce Plugin was developed by Withrow's Place to provide site administrators the ability to customize newsfeeds for admins, vendors, and public pages within their web site. Now multistore sites can share related news, parent companies can deliver related news to child companies, and social media based stores can share news from partner sites with their members.
Using any properly formatted RSS 2.0 or atom feed from any web source, newsfeeds may be restricted to role-based viewers. For example, Vendors may see a particular feed of articles related to improving sales performance, Admins see newsfeeds that relate to improving performance, and the public reads articles from partner stores. There is no limit to the number of newsfeeds displayed for any combination. Only the newest articles are displayed and can range from disabled, to one article shown, to get everything available.
The News Resourcer Widget plugin is fully configurable (screenshots available), fully localized to easily translate to other languages, and open source for a small fee.
