SQL Server Express X Enterprise - Considerations

Hi!

Our database has almost 4GB and is running under SQL EXPRESS version.

I have made some tests under Enterprise version on a friend's server but I havent seen too much performance and speed beneficts..

I know that Enterprise version has a LOT of performance, secutiry and other features, but Im just talking about nop running under it.

Have you test it? Did you get a better performance upgrading SQL version? How did you configure it.

Much of the performance improvements will depend on the hardware.  SQL express is limited by number of memory and cores.  If your server is low-end, then 'better' SQL versions won't see much improvement.
