Limit product availability to certain countries

I sell certain products that are simply too heavy to post out of the UK, but can't find a way to limit the product to one country only meaning people in Europe sometimes buy it.

It is not possible to restrict products to a country without doing customisations or making a plugin.
One part solution would be to implement a system with different Stores with subdomains or different domains for various countries and only list some products in the store for a specific country.
