Hello,

Yes. This is true that nopCommerce looses performance when it is highly loaded but performance can be optimized and increased gradually with some best practices or customization if needed.

You can contact us to look at your website then we can plan  how to help you further to optimize your website. We have few big eCommerce players who are using nopCommerce and they had similar issues but now everyone is happy after optimizations.

Thank you,

Google speed insight and other alike systems give you hints to improve your response times
Have you assigned enough resources in Azure? Have you checked your resource consumption statistics?
Are you using proxi servers like CloudFlare?
Have you checked tools for performance and/or speed improvement for Nop?
Version 4.1 will be much faster than previous versions.

Hi,

I also suggest you to install a profiler to find where it takes more time and optimize that. Monitor the matrix, and follow the best practice.

And, nopCommerce is little slow out of the box, however as Eduardo said, there are few extensions which can help you as well as there are solutions providers like us who can support and help you find what makes it slow and implement changes to optimize it.

I also suggest you to go through this video on Performance Optimization Techniques for nopCommerce to have useful tips on improving nopCommerce performance.

Hi and thx!
I'm not administrator/programmer. We use plugin Msql Providers from Foxnet, but we don't have too much "complicate" structure, and big data, so don't know how much this give us. I send link to this topic to my IT Support, maybe they install some new soft and we find something.

"profiler" - You mean sql server profiler?

I hope we find something and increase speed our page. I think this is a core to shop/platform success.

About Google Insight, they sometimes want too much (compress photos to gain 2 kb etc... remove scipts (GA, Fonts from GA) so there are things we can't or don't want to change.

But I just afraid about FCP nad DCL statistic. Where only 19% / 14% our users have fast loading page and almost 56% have slow loading. I think this can be a problem for our ecommerce in a  long perspective where competitors increase speed... Thats why i start looking some champion/leader from some country working with nopcommerce. I think this will be the best marketing for this solution. But nobody show us this Star, so maybe Nopcommerce isn't for the leaders. Philosophic thinking. ;)

Actual almost all our competitors who works on PrestaShop, Magento, IAI, Shoper are faster than us...  and it's a reason why we start thinking what we can do with this. Upgrade 3.7 > 4.0 don't change too much (but 4.0 is really cool).

If someone have tips or tricks ;) we are  really greatfull for help (or maybe someone create similiar topic where we can found solutions (nnow i turn on video you post here).

Hello [],

You can take a look at this blog from Lavish Kumar about how to enable in-built mini-profiler in nopCommerce.

This will help your IT guy to understand where it is making slow. Meanwhile you can send us an email and add us on Skype to see how we could help you by reviewing your nopCommerce settings and website.

PS: Mention your website Url and some admin credentials for us in email.

We will be happy to take a chance to help you.

Wait till 4.10 is delivered in couple of weeks because it will be much faster. Besides there is work to be done to fine tune the speed and if you cannot do it you should consider hiring an expert to do that for you.

Any idea what the breaking changes will be?
Looking to move onto the nopCommerce platform - hoping to see full-fledged .NET Core support.
